The People Behind the Charity
The dedicated individuals who give their time, compassion, and lived experience to support bereaved families across Scotland and beyond.
Co-Founder, Baby Loss Retreat
In 2003, my life changed forever when my daughter, Erin, was stillborn at 37 weeks. Like many bereaved parents, I experienced the heartbreak of leaving the hospital without my baby and without the support I desperately needed. While the care I received in hospital was compassionate, I soon realised that ongoing support for bereaved families was limited once they returned home. It was during my own grief journey that I identified a significant gap in aftercare services for parents affected by baby loss.
Bereavement Coordinator & Co-Founder, Baby Loss Retreat
I am Bryan Morrison, Bereavement Coordinator and Co-Founder of Baby Loss Retreat, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by the loss of a baby. In my role, I work closely with our CEO, Julie, to develop and deliver compassionate bereavement support programmes that provide comfort, understanding, and hope during some of life's most difficult moments.
