Relaxing Retreats for Bereaved Families

Baby Loss Retreat aims to relieve the emotional and psychological suffering of families and individuals who suffered early birth bereavement.

Baby Loss Retreat

Baby loss retreat was set up to help families trying to cope with the death of a child. It was founded in February 2018 by Julie Morrison and Bryan Morrison who lost their daughter Erin, Erin was stillborn in 2003 at 37 weeks. Julie & Bryan started this retreat free of charge for bereaved parents throughout the UK. By providing a quiet environment to help couples talk about their experience.

We are here for you

We are a local charity offering counselling and support to families who have suffered any baby loss resulting in miscarriage, stillborn, neonatal death and IVF. As parents who have suffered a stillborn in 2003, we understand the needs and help to others. We are a 24 hours service offering counselling and care.

In addition to this care, we offer 2 days respite free of charge in a peaceful location to help with the grieving process and reflect as a family. After a loss, we find it hard coping in relationships or dealing with family life as we are grieving after the death of a baby and sometimes we find it difficult to focus on the future or situation that may arise. The retreat is a safe environment and peaceful to help to reflect.

Baby Loss Retreat understands the need for care after the loss of a child is very limited and work with the families to improve this. There is no time limitation to this amount of care.

Just met one of the girls today from this group and actually never heard of them up until now. And what an amazing thing they do for such a delicate time.

Would just like to say a huge thank you to baby loss retreat for sending us on a 2 day break away after the loss of our twin babies. We are going through the worst time of our life’s at the minute and just to get away for a couple of days to relax and reflect on everything has helped us. The work that Julie and Bryan do is amazing and it is so comforting to know that they are people you know you can speak to if you are having a bad day or whatever, we will be looking forward to attending fundraisers and events in the future and hopefully give something back to the charity after the help that they have provided us, thank you again, guys, and keep doing what you are doing ❣️???
